VW Junk

Couple of days ago we drove up to a VW junk yard at Lake Elsinore for some used hard to find parts for our '68 VW bus.

Sounds like heaven, but every part was expensive.

Today the alarm was going off at 5:30AM.

And the alarm was Mark.

So, we woke up early and drove up to Sano.

Great surf, Bellie took some pics.

We did lots of "el pullos"

 

After surf Mark bumped his foot, with a nasty cut as result.

Nurse Bellie took care of it.

Less meat..

Today No Surf and Some Rain

Today there was no surf, there was waves, but not really worth to go out.

So we did some shopping at Walmart, Target and Sports Authority.

Between the rain showers and shopping, we killed some time playing golf at the driving range of Talega Golf Club.

The saga continues...

The brakes got stuck... driving down the freeway we were smoking!!

Fire extinguisher in hand... but luckily no flames, only smoke....

So we need to locate the problem... fix it... (hopfully..)

We'll keep you informed...

We're happy to say that Steven and Kaitlin are enjoying

a short vacation in Hawaii... Steven's little sister is getting

married!! Congrats!! And so we are blessed with the

presents of Kaitlin's car again... Thank you again!!!! :D

Happy birthday Greg & Bellie!!

Honestly... best birthday ever!!

The weather was amazing, surf all day cause the wind kept low,

 all our friends there.. except for the Belgilians...

We missed them!! :o

The cakes were the best tasting cakes ever!!

After the rain, comes....

Yesterday we had some rain....euh....it was more like just some rain drops...

But the surf was kind of stormy, today summer again, clear blue sky and 23°C.
Bigger waves as usual at SanO this morning.

  Bellie didn't go out, but took some really nice shots with my Nikon.

 Just after noon we drove up to Doheny, 'cause the wind was blowing onshore at Sano :-(
At Doheny the wind should be offshore/sideshore with some nice waist high South Swell :-)
So we surfed a second time today...

Rough day at the office!

So this is what we have been doing...

Driving down to the beach early in the morning..

Look at the surf... getting all excited bout the excellent conditions..

Going out and paddling like your life depended on it...

It sure does feels like a job!!

Dude you should have been here yesterday..

The surf was SO good, I need a brake!!

When you're done surfing there is always the free tennis court..

And if that's not enough there is always the driving range.. (Golf)

Hope to join Steve and Kaitlin for some action...
