Coming home even though it doesn't feel like home now...

We had a good flight, but even knowing it's winter in Belgium..

doesn't even come close to get you prepared for the cold and

dark days!!

This is us driving up our street..

Huge difference from the clear blue skies in Cali...

Here there is also no cloud to be seen... it's all grey...

But this sure put a smile on our faces!!

Hey guys.. Well we're almost there... getting close to the end...

Finished, done, gedaan, ca y est, no mas...

So what we did yesterday is woke up real early.

Drove to San diego in the van and got a rental car...

Then drove all the way up to Long Beach...

Said goodbye to the VW van and drove back down

to San Clemente..

Jeff Quam was so nice to take us in at his place..

Met his lovely wife Jill and slept like a baby!!

This is the sun.. not yet up... my eyes weren't open neither!! ;D

Johana have me a free- late 'birthday birthday'!!

Bummed and homeless beach bums..

Yesterday we we're in shock to find the house in the state it was!

Everything dusty like crazy... All the furniture in the

middle of the rooms.. not very cozy nor livable...

No warnings... so our stuff was all over the place...

Dusty clothing, dusty food, dusty electronics... just great!!

Not only that... we need to get our of the house by next friday..

So our last week will be somewhere else but Encinitas...

Hopefully we'll find a cheap solution to this problem...

Hope we made good enough friends here to fix something

with someone, or a few people...

We'll keep you posted...

Surfing on a postcard...

This morning an other sunday of surfing with the stars...

Alex, Tanner, Do, Bellie... hihihihihi ;D

 The waves were pretty small but had push..

Oooohhhh so much fun!!!

The sunset session was also sooo good!!

 And it really felt like we were surfing on a postcard...

Soooo beautiful... a treat for Valentines day tomorrow!!

After going for a Starbucks we had to wait in line...

Why not... just this ones we can do it...

cause it was such a perfect day on the beach!!

15 minutes isn't bad huh!! That's all it took to let the 15 cars

in front of us on to the beach... Excellent!!

Birthday girl...

So I got to chose what to do on my birthday!!

Ok, there is no breakfast as good as the pancakes from The Mission in SD!!!!

Strawberries and granola pancakes.. sooooo yummy!!

This with a side of a cafe au lait!!

Dooke had the strawberry and bananas pancakes

and a delicious chai tea latte!

This is sunset cliffs... very nice!!!

And for dinner we went to Sonny's pizza in SC...

The plan of getting a free dessert didn't work!!! Damn... hihihihi...

But I did eat a huge Mississippi mud pie before fainting

 from all the food we ate!!
